November 2014 Article

Cibolo Lodge held its last regular meeting of 2014 on Thursday, November 6th at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Universal City. Many things were accomplished at this, the final meeting of the year.

Cheer committee Dorothy Schneider reported that several members met at Silvertree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on October 24th to present personal care items, collected by the lodge for “Make a Difference Day”. Angi Schnedler, Guest Relations Coordinator, was grateful for the contributions and assured those in attendance that the items were much needed and greatly appreciated.

November is always the election of new officers. Our new President will be John Gray and the Vice-President will be Tina Ynfante. The Recording Secretary position remains unfilled and will be addressed at the January meeting. Many thanks to Sherry Rakowtiz who served as our President in 2014. Sherry will serve as our Immediate Past President. Dawn Bierstedt and Fay Fey retained their positions as Trustee and Finance Committee, respectively. Filling out the slate of officers is Mary Ann Gray, Guide, John Fey, Inner Guard and Cliff Shepherd, Outer Guard. Dorothy Schneider will advise about her intentions for the Cheer Committee, right after the first of the year.
