Cibolo lodge used their regular meeting date to honor their Brothers and Sisters who have passed in the last year, at a special Memorial Ceremony.

The annual ceremony was conducted by Vice President Tina Ynfante. Anthony and AJ Schneider prepared a touching music and visual program to accompany the tributes.

Members recognized Sister Betty Lou Schulz, Sister Eula C Burton, Sister Mary Ann Dylla, Sister Rachel B Leachman, Sister Edna Rauch, Sister Lucille Hehs, Brother Morris Johnson, Jr., and Brother Sigfrid Swenson during this touching ceremony. Members were pleased to welcome representatives of the Schulz, Dylla and Leachman families as our special guests. In addition to this ceremony, donations were made to the Scholarship Fund in their names.

In July, Cibolo Lodge does not hold a regular meeting, but a social instead. This year, members bowled nine-pin at Bracken Bowling Alley. Pictured here are a few our of outstanding bowlers.

With school starting, Cibolo Lodge’s busy fall schedule will begin. The October meeting with feature the junior and adult costume contest. Plans will be made for the Christmas Party to be held Sunday, December 6th at Schertz Community Center. Contact any member or officer for more details about either of these events.

Adult attendance prize winners were Joy Brown and Mary Ann Gray. The night proved lucky for Joy Brown, as she was the winner of the lodge’s special prize drawing pot of $52. The pot will be reset in September to $25. You must be present to claim this special prize.

We hope you’ll plan to attend our next meeting on September 3, 2015, to be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church Parish Hall. Dinner is at 7 pm followed by the business meeting at 7:30.
